This Gabardine Fabric in Forest Green is made entirely from 100% recycled postconsumer plastic bottles, making it a true model of sustainability. Every PET bottle was collected from various bodies of water globally, and is properly certified by the Global Recycle Standard. Mechanical processing techniques were used instead of chemical processes, and the yarn itself was spun in Italy and can be fully traced. Not only does this material offer incredible softness and anti-UV properties, but it also dries quickly and is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. Certified by both Textile Exchange and Oeko Tex, this fabric surpasses all recycled material standards. Additionally, utilizing RPET significantly minimizes energy consumption, carbon emissions, and water usage compared to traditional polyester.
