Animal-Free Designs and Kindness for Nature
We are an independent boutique fashion brand based in London, the only award-winning exclusively 100% animal-free, eco-friendly, ethical and sustainable fashion brand made in England. We create quality dresses, coats, tops and bottoms that are stylish, flattering and super comfy. They're also good for the environment! All ADKN garments are ethically produced in our own London-based studio, handcrafted with responsibly sourced and sustainable materials and recycled fabric, because slow fashion is even better fashion.
We are a 100% Sustainable Fashion Brand and winners of Green Business of the year 2019. As a slow fashion brand with sustainable clothing at its core, in 2019 alone we have recycled the equivalent weight of 163,570 post-consumer plastic bottles gathered from waters across the world and landfills and transformed them into chemical-free ethical clothes.
That means no toxic residue is left on the clothes and no microfibers shedding. That's the equivalent of 448 years worth of plastic bottles (for 1 2L bottle used per person per day). By recycling waste PET bottles, ADKN has reduced CO2 emissions by 12,079.383 kg and saved 81,059.0175 liters of water in one year.
More than 70% of our eco clothing collection comprises of clothes made from recycled materials (RPET).
From DEADstock to New Life, ADKN is taking action against textile waste!
Deadstock fashion gives textiles a second life. ADKN uses deadstock fabrics to create new clothing styles and reduce the waste usually created by fast fashion. By renouncing overproduction, our slow fashion business promotes sustainability by opting for fabrics that never go to waste, being either recycled or upcycled.
Happy Earth Day folks!
