All our garments are hand made in our own studio in London and are, as expected, prone to small human errors every now and then. We're all human, we all make mistakes. As big advocates of zero-waste we want to offer our perfectly imperfect garments at a discounted price, with a part of the proceeds going towards environmental charities.

These garments are still in line with our vision, they just present some cosmetic defects as listed. Stock is limited to the options presented below. All sales are final and not refundable. Should a return be needed, the refund will be issued as credit on the account.

Made Slowly in London - Unlike fast fashion, which relies on assembly lines, your ADKN garment is crafted by a single artisan or a small team in London, using focused skill to cut, construct, and finish a premium quality ADKN item. We replace the speed of the assembly line with deliberate, technical precision:

Pyjama sets represent 2.5 to 6 hours of labour to master fluid drapes and hand-turned piping;
Dresses and Gowns require 3 to 8 hours of cutting, draping and precision stitching;
Outerwear is a technical marathon, taking 6 to 14 hours to hand-set storm flaps and bias-bound interiors.
In menswear, a Shirt or Jumper demands 1.25 to 5 hours to ensure sag-free necklines and interlined collars
Women’s Tops and Blouses receive 1.5 to 4 hours of slow-stitching for liquid movement
Finally, our Trousers and Skirts represent 3 to 6 hours of “hidden architecture,” focusing on reinforced waistbands and precision-set zip flies.

We believe this time is essential for durability, ensuring your garment lasts years, not months.

Every ADKN garment is priced to reflect the real costs behind creating truly ethical, sustainable fashion, without shortcuts or compromises.

From initial design to marketing, production, and aftercare, everything is handled in-house by our dedicated team in London, all paid fairly for their craft and expertise. Our materials are bespoke-developed for ADKN, always vegan, recycled or organic, ethically sourced, made to last and never mass-produced.

Each piece is produced in-house in small, zero-waste batches, using green and responsible practices and thoughtful design to reduce excess.

We also work differently to reduce waste from the inside out. A part of our collection is made by salvaging leftover materials and past designs or samples, carefully reworking, refining and restoring them into unique, revived pieces. This second-life approach allows us to honour resources already in circulation, extend their lifecycle, and create something new without creating unnecessary waste.

Our commitment extends beyond the garment: we use recycled and recyclable packaging and carbon-conscious logistics to reduce our environmental footprint from studio to doorstep, because sustainability doesn’t stop at the product; it runs through every part of our process.

Order Processing Times

All orders placed before 11am (Monday–Friday) are processed the same day. Orders placed after this cut-off, over the weekend, or on public holidays will be processed the next working day.

Please note that processing times may vary depending on the collection:

ADKN RTW (Ready-to-Wear): Ships within 1 working day
ADKN Zero Waste Collection: Please allow 5–8 working days for production and dispatch
ADKNLux Collection: Made to order — allow 3–4 weeks for production and processing

Shipping rates for ADKN Materials may vary depending on weight and delivery method.

Returns & Cancellations

We offer free UK returns within 28 days. To request a return, simply log into your account here.

Returns are not accepted on ADKN Materials (fabrics, accessories) or ADKN Face Masks, due to hygiene and custom production.
ADKNLux pieces are specially made to order; while we do not offer refunds, we may provide store credit at our discretion.
Outlet “Perfectly Imperfect” pieces can only be returned in exchange for full store credit.

Cancellations must be requested within 1 hour of placing your order.

And to honour that, we offer complimentary repairs for up to one year from the date of purchase, because we believe in standing by the quality of what we make, and extending the life of what you love.

After one year, we're still here for you. Repairs beyond the first year are available for a small fee, based on the service required. It’s our way of supporting thoughtful ownership, not disposability. This is our way of standing by what we make, and helping reduce the waste that fast fashion leaves behind.

When will my order arrive?

Each piece shows its own timing just above the Add to bag button. Ready-to-wear pieces are dispatched within one working day. Zero Waste and ADKNLux pieces are made for you in our London studio first, then sent with the delivery option you choose at checkout.

Free UK standard tracked delivery takes 4–7 working days after dispatch, with Priority (2–3 working days) and Express (1–2 working days) also available.

How does paying 50% now work?

For made-to-order pieces you can choose Standard Production: you pay 50% when you order and the remaining 50% when your piece is ready to ship.

Is it ready to give as a gift?

Yes. Every ADKN order is shipped in an ADKN gift box, so it arrives ready to give.

Can I return it?

We offer free UK returns within 28 days, started from your account.

Some exceptions apply: ADKN Materials and face masks can’t be returned, Outlet ‘Perfectly Imperfect’ pieces are returned for store credit, and ADKNLux pieces are made to order for you, so they are not refunded, though we may offer store credit. How do I choose my size?

Open the size guide next to the size options for measurements. If you’re between sizes or unsure, email info@adkn.co.uk and the studio team who make our pieces will advise you.

What if it ever needs mending?

Repairs are free for the first year with the ADKN Repair Promise. After that, we still repair pieces for a small fee depending on the work needed.

What happens when I no longer wear it?

Send it back through Re.ADKN, our circular fashion programme. We’ll repair, repurpose, donate or responsibly recycle it, and you’ll receive store credit towards something new.

Do you deliver outside the UK?

Yes. We deliver to Europe, North America and the rest of the world, with rates and timings shown at checkout.
