Given the production process is free of harsh, polluting chemicals, the fabric has a very smooth, almost silk-like, feeling. Moreover, with no toxic chemicals being used and no harsh residue remaining in the finished material, this fabric is hypoallergenic, perfect for sensitive skin.
Bamboo is a very versatile plant, being used for centuries in Asia, be it in cooking, construction, textiles or medicine. In the most recent years, this marvellous plant has caught the attention of the rest of the world, due to its green and sustainable properties.
As a result of an antibacterial and bacteriostatic bio-agent bamboo possesses called “Bamboo Kun”, which allows the plant to grow without pesticides or fertilisers, bamboo fabric is also antibacterial and antifungal. This helps you have healthier and more hygienic garments, whilst feeling fresher and odor free for longer.
Bamboo fiber also presents micro-gaps which help the material regulate moisture and ventilation, making the fabric extremely breathable. It therefore keeps you cooler in the heat, and warms you up in the cold. Talk about an all-season-er.
Our bamboo fabrics are made from bamboo pulp mixed with organic cotton and recycled PET, produced with great care and quality, whilst avoiding the use of toxic chemicals. The softness of the fabric closely resembles that of velvet, giving your clothes a luxurious look and feel. Bamboo fabric is also anti-static, so don’t worry about your dress clinging to you when you least expected.
Our bamboo fabrics are also Oeko-Tex 100 certified.
